I have been working for construction for ten years now at the same company and we just got our first female worker just last week. It is a big difference for all of us men as she constantly talks about her kids, primary assemblies and even her personal life. We are so used to quietness on the job site. There maybe me an occasional crude joke passed around here and there or a conversation about nothingness, but other than that it stays pretty quiet. So far she seems decent though. She is always on time and gives every ounce of effort that she possibly can. All of us have been quite surprised with her work ethics and have nothing bad to say about her style. She even works harder than some of the other men at the company. Go figure.

My friends and I were invited out to this new business event in town. We were kind of nervous to go because we only knew one person there. We are just single girls and no one to go out with.
